The research group of Ikui's lab at Brooklyn College is seeking applications for a full time position. A successful candidate will conduct research on DNA replication control and cell cycle checkpoints in relation to environmental stress. A candidate must have Ph.D. degree and strong background in basic genetics, molecular biology and/or biochemistry.
Brooklyn College is a large urban college located in the middle of Brooklyn, New York. A candidate will be expected to interact with undergraduate and graduate students, both Masters and Ph.D. in the lab.
This is a full-time position for an initial contract of 1 year but appointment can be extended up to three years based on the performance. A candidate must be highly self-motivated and strong in communication. Please send me the following information to AIkui@brooklyn.cuny.edu
